Wedding Trends for 2023

Are you excited about the 2023 Wedding Trends?! Working in the industry, we have seen many trends come and go. 2023 is just a few months away and here are the trends we are expecting to see throughout the new year.

NEW TWIST ON FIRST DANCES

Slow swaying on the dance floor for three and a half minutes may be a thing of the past. I am expecting to see more upbeat and energetic first dances with choreography and some pizzazz. Couples will not only take dance lessons, but now you’ll see parents and bridal parties learning choreographies as well!

PEARLS 

Pearls are a trend we are seeing in the fashion industry! Expect to see pearls incorporated into wedding pieces this year. They will be a statement piece for the new year. You will see pearls on the veils, dresses, flowers, and even in the jewelry brides will be wearing.

LARGE WEDDINGS

Coming back from the pandemic where micro weddings and elopement were peaking, I expect to see a comeback of larger weddings and receptions since the pandemic took that from brides and grooms for almost two years. The 2023 Wedding Trends will include big celebrations and epic dance parties. 

CEREMONY DRESS TO RECEPTION JUMPSUIT OUTFIT CHANGE 

Fun and functional white jumpsuits are going to take the 2023 wedding industry by storm and I fully expect a ceremony to change from a bride’s beautiful ceremony gown to a gorgeous jumper, even with a pair of white sneakers that you can dance the night away in.

ECOFRIENDLY ASPECTS 

Sustainability will be an upcoming wedding trend in 2023 and the years to come will see eco-friendly or digital wedding invitations, locally sourced food, and environmentally friendly guest favors

NON-TRADITIONAL CEREMONY LOCATIONS

As Gen-Z begins to say I-do, I expect to see a decline in traditional ceremony locations and an uprising in outdoor venues, destination weddings, and secluded natural locations.
