Choosing a bridesmaid dress can be stressful considering everyone has a different style, price range, body type, and preference. Make it fun to pick out gorgeous dresses or suits for your whole entourage. We have put together the ultimate guide, to help you through the process!
STEP ONE: Choose the color!
Choosing the color of your bridesmaid attire is a good place to start. There are so many styles and looks available in almost every color imaginable. Some popular and elegant colors for your bridesmaids to rock include blush, champagne, pastel blue, and black. Some brides even opt to have each bridesmaid in a different color which is a trend I have been loving!
STEP TWO: Pick a budget
Decide if you want to treat your friends and purchase their dresses or if you would prefer each bridesmaid to purchase their own dress! Both options are perfectly fine and up to you, the bride. If you want each bridesmaid to purchase their own dress, have an honest conversation with each bridesmaid individually about what price point they would like to stick with so no one is left feeling as if they cannot afford to be a part of your special day.
STEP THREE: Decide on a style…or don’t.
The next step is to decide on a style. Some brides want their party to all match with the same style color while other brides love the look of the same/similar colors and unique styles. Some brides even want their bridal party in a variety of colors and styles which in my opinion looks amazing! Either way, make sure each person in your bridal party has the freedom to express what styles they are comfortable wearing for their body types and comfort level!
STEP FOUR: Order and have a fashion show!
Once the dresses or suits have been ordered (early enough to make sure they are here way before your wedding) have a fashion show with your bridal party, and maybe even turn it into a party. Make sure the dresses all fit and look fabulous. Make sure that alterations are secure.
